VIS COM - Assessment 3B Typography Image

Typography Image

for this project you need to select either an image of your choice (must be an image and not a photograph and needs to contain at least 2 or more solid parts) OR you can use the Map of Canada in the link below.

You need to fill your image with words that relate to the image. Look at some examples below.

remember to follow the steps below to get started.

1. First you need to make the parts of your image their own images. you do this by using the magic wand and cutting and pasting.

2. Once all your parts are separated you need to start putting your text in.
                Your Text Needs to:
                    1. Be different sizes
                    2. Be different Colours
                    3. Be Different Directions
                    4. Be different Styles
your text can be in separate text boxes and must fill the image. (DO NOT PASTE THE TEXT INSIDE
UNTIL YOU HAVE ADDED ALL YOUR TEXT!)
If you have multiple text boxes you now need to group them together. this is done by selecting all of them
(click one and then hold shift and click the rest)
once you have them all selected click MODIFY on the top tool bar then FLATTEN SELECTION
This will group all of your text boxes into one.

3.now you need to cut your text and paste it inside of a selected part of you image.
